    Tyla announces “A*Pop” World Tour

    Tyla announces “A*Pop” World Tour

Just days after releasing her highly anticipated sophomore album A*Pop, Tyla has officially announced The A*Pop World Tour, her biggest tour to date. The 34-date trek will see the two-time Grammy Award-winning singer headline concerts across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America, and Africa, marking the first full global headlining tour of her career.

Presented by Live Nation, the tour arrives during one of the most exciting moments of Tyla’s rapidly rising career. Following the international success of her breakout smash “Water” and the momentum created by her self-titled debut album, the South African superstar is entering a new era with A*Pop and will soon bring the project to fans around the world.

The announcement further solidifies Tyla’s place among today’s biggest global pop stars as she continues introducing her signature blend of amapiano, Afropop, R&B, and mainstream pop to audiences across multiple continents.

Tour begins in Europe before heading to North America and Africa

The A*Pop World Tour officially launches on October 12 in Paris, France, at Zenith Paris before making stops throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.

Fans in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen will all have the opportunity to experience Tyla’s newest era live during the opening leg of the tour.

North American dates begin on November 12 at Hard Rock Live in Wheatland, California. From there, Tyla will perform in San Francisco, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Tampa, Atlanta, Irving, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

The tour concludes with a return to Africa, where Tyla will perform special dates in Lagos, Cape Town, and Johannesburg between late December and early January, bringing her latest project home to fans on the continent where her career first began.

A*Pop ushers in Tyla’s next chapter

The tour announcement follows the release of A*Pop, Tyla’s second studio album, which arrived on July 24 via FAX and Epic Records.

The 14-song project had been anticipated for well over a year after fans eagerly awaited the follow-up to her breakthrough debut album. Throughout that time, Tyla steadily built excitement by releasing standout singles including “CHANEL,” “IS IT,” “SHE DID IT AGAIN,” and “IS IT LOVE.”

Each release showcased another side of her evolving artistry while maintaining the infectious rhythms and dance-ready production that have become synonymous with her music.

Rather than repeating the formula that made “Water” a worldwide phenomenon, A*Pop demonstrates Tyla’s willingness to continue experimenting with new sounds while staying connected to her South African musical roots. The result is an album that balances commercial appeal with artistic growth, further establishing her as one of the most exciting young stars in global music.

    Building on international success

Few artists have experienced the type of worldwide rise that Tyla has enjoyed over the past several years.

“Water” became a global sensation, earning billions of streams, dominating social media, and introducing millions of listeners to Tyla’s unique sound. The song also earned her two Grammy Awards and opened doors to larger stages, international festivals, and collaborations with some of music’s biggest names.

Since then, Tyla has continued building a loyal international fan base while becoming one of the leading ambassadors for South African music worldwide.

Her previous We Wanna Party Tour throughout Asia demonstrated just how quickly her popularity has expanded internationally. Several performances sold out, particularly in Japan and the United Arab Emirates, giving fans an early glimpse of her growing worldwide appeal.

The A*Pop World Tour now represents an even larger step forward, as Tyla prepares to headline arenas and major venues across four continents.

Major performances highlight the A*Pop rollout

Promotion for A*Pop has included several high-profile performances that have generated excitement around the new album.

On release day, Tyla headlined the Today Show’s Citi Summerstage at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. Thousands of fans gathered to watch her perform “Water,” “IS IT LOVE,” “THAT GIRL,” and “CHANEL” only hours after the album became available.

She also appeared on the Today Show for an interview discussing the creative process behind A*Pop, her expanding international career, and her newly released Bratz doll collaboration.

Only a day later, Tyla delivered another career-defining performance during halftime of the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago.

Performing “CHANEL,” “WATER,” and “SHE DID IT AGAIN,” Tyla became the first international artist ever to headline the WNBA All-Star halftime show during the event’s 30-year history.

The appearance further demonstrated how rapidly her profile has grown beyond traditional music audiences.

Meanwhile, Tyla has also partnered with Vevo for a new series of live performances. The first installment featured an official live version of “IS IT LOVE,” while additional performances are expected to arrive in the coming weeks as promotion for A*Pop continues.

    Tickets expected to move quickly

Fans eager to attend the A*Pop World Tour will have multiple opportunities to purchase tickets.

Artist presales begin on Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. local time through Laylo, allowing fans early access before tickets become available to the general public.

General ticket sales officially begin on Friday, July 31, at 10 a.m. local time through Tyla’s official website.

Given Tyla’s growing international popularity and the success of her recent live performances, several dates are expected to attract significant demand, particularly in major markets such as London, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Johannesburg.

As A*Pop continues gaining momentum following its release, the accompanying world tour is positioned to become another defining milestone in Tyla’s career. With a new album, historic performances, and her largest headlining run to date, the Grammy-winning singer is continuing her transformation into one of the biggest global stars of her generation, while giving fans across four continents their first opportunity to experience the A*Pop era live.
