FOLA, in an official announcement, has confirmed the tracklist as well as the artists featured on his sophomore album, ‘9.’
Nigerian singer FOLA has unveiled the official tracklist for his forthcoming sophomore album, 9, ahead of its release on October 9 via Dangbana Republik and EMPIRE.
The 14-track project brings together a strong lineup of Nigerian stars, with guest appearances from Davido, Ayra Starr, BNXN, Darkoo, Bella Shmurda and Zlatan.
FOLA revealed the tracklist alongside a personal message explaining that the album was created from genuine experiences and with close attention to every detail.
“Made this one with some of my favourite producers, musicians and artists. Every song came from somewhere real, every detail meant something,” he wrote.
He added: “Wherever you are, whatever you’re going through, it is my hope that when you hear it, this album finds you at the right time. 9 is coming.”
The album opens with “awade”, followed by “how many?”, before Davido appears on the third track, “2am in toronto.” Ayra Starr joins FOLA on “treat u right,” while BNXN features on “my type.”
Darkoo appears on “hold u down,” with Bella Shmurda and Zlatan both joining FOLA on the album’s closing track, “it’s over.”
The complete tracklist is:
- awade
- how many?
- 2am in toronto — ft. Davido
- stubborn

The title 9 continues FOLA’s football-inspired identity, with the singer previously referring to himself as “the striker,” a role traditionally associated with the number nine shirt.
Another notable inclusion is “crime,” which incorporates a sample from a classic by Nigerian music icon 2Baba.
The project follows FOLA’s debut album Catharsis and arrives as the singer continues to build on the momentum generated by his recent releases.
Ahead of the full album, his collaboration with Davido, “2am in toronto,” is scheduled to arrive on Friday, giving listeners an early taste of the project before 9 drops on October 9.
