What Is SportPesa Survivor?
SportPesa Survivor is a knockout-stage promotion that runs from 28 June to 19 July 2026. Every time you place a qualifying bet on a World Cup Knockout match, you climb the Survivor Leaderboard and earn entries into that day’s prize draws. The more match days you take part in, the stronger your position becomes — and the closer you get to a share of the R100,000 Grand Prize.
There’s no opt-in required. As soon as you place a qualifying bet during the promo period, you’re in.

How to Earn a Qualifying Bet
A qualifying bet is simple to place. To count toward Survivor, your bet needs to tick these boxes:
- Minimum stake of R20 per bet
- Minimum odds of 1.5 or higher
- It must include at least one World Cup Knockout Stage selection
- Pre-Match, Multi-Bet and Live / In-Play bets all qualify
- Placed between 28 June and 19 July 2026
One thing to note: cashed-out and voided bets do not qualify. Every qualifying bet you place also earns you one entry into that day’s Daily Prize Draw and SportPesa Rewards Draw, and there’s no limit on how many entries you can earn per day.
How the Survivor Leaderboard Works
Your Leaderboard position comes down to a single Final Score, built from two parts: how many knockout matches you’ve bet on, and how much you’ve won across those bets. The clever bit is that consistency counts for more than a big payout.
Your Match Score is the percentage of the 32 knockout matches you’ve placed a qualifying bet on. Your Winnings Score measures your total winnings against a R20,000 cap (win R20,000 or more and you hit the maximum — so a single huge payout can’t dominate the board). The two are then combined, with match participation weighted at 65% and winnings at 35%:
Final Score = (Match Score × 65%) + (Winnings Score × 35%)
In other words, the number of matches you take part in carries close to twice the weight of your winnings. Here’s how that plays out:

Grand Prize — How the R100,000 Is Shared
The R100,000 pool is split across the top 25 Leaderboard positions. The amounts below apply at the full 100% match threshold (a qualifying bet on all 32 knockout matches):

Important: these are the maximum amounts. Your actual payout scales with the number of matches you bet on — 100% of the amount at 32 matches, 50% at 25 matches, 20% at 15 matches, and a guaranteed 10% at 10 matches (10% is also the default minimum). For example, finishing 3rd with 15 qualifying matches would pay 20% of R8,000 = R1,600.
