Super talented singer and rapper Cheque has released a new record tagged ANDALE. It is a fresh entry into his growing catalogue as he continues building on the success of earlier projects. The title, ANDALE, is a Spanish expression commonly understood as “come on,” “let’s go,” or “move forward,” reflecting urgency, confidence and determination throughout the record.
On the track, Cheque moves comfortably between rap and melody, delivering confident verses that match the record’s energetic pace. This dual approach has become one of the defining qualities of his sound, and it’s on full display here, balancing lyrical expression with hooks designed to stick with listeners.
The release reinforces Cheque’s standing as one of Nigeria’s notable melodic rap voices, a reputation built through his blend of hip-hop cadences and Afrobeats sensibilities that has made his music appealing to both rap purists and regular Afrobeats audiences. ANDALE continues that dual appeal, giving fans another example of his genre-crossing style.
As a “breath of fresh air” in the current music scene, the song sees Cheque reclaiming attention with a track built for energy and momentum, adding to a catalogue that has positioned him as a distinctive presence within Nigeria’s melodic rap scene.
