Plenty will have changed at Chelsea when they play their first game of the 2026/27 season.
The Blues announced last month that Spaniard Xabi Alonso will become their new manager following the sacking of Liam Rosenior in April, with the former Real Madrid boss set to take charge at the start of July.
Alonso will inherit a side that lifted the FIFA Club World Cup less than 12 months ago, but failed to qualify for any form of European competition after a 10th-placed finish in the Premier League last term.
The west London outfit also look set to be busy in the transfer market this summer, with plenty of incomings and outgoings expected at Stamford Bridge.
With that in mind, it has emerged that Chelsea have now put a price tag of £120 million on in-demand midfielder Enzo Fernandez, according to Football Insider.
The report claims that former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca – who is expected to take charge of Manchester City this summer – is keen to lure the midfielder to The Etihad.

City are without a manager following Pep Guardiola’s departure at the end of last season, but Maresca – who worked under Guardiola previously – is expected to be named as his successor.
The Spaniard worked with Fernandez at Stamford Bridge, and the report suggests that he is keen for a reunion in Manchester.
Fernandez became the most expensive player in Premier League history when he joined Chelsea from Benfica for a fee of more than £106 million back in 2023, but he has since built a reputation as one of the best in Europe in his position.
The central midfielder has scored 31 goals and provided 30 assists in 169 games for the Blues across all competitions, as well as helping them to win both the Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League.
