Premier League champions Arsenal could have a busy summer in the transfer market, following their hugely successful season.

Mikel Arteta’s side had finished second in the Premier League three times on the trot, but beat Manchester City to the title this time around to lift the trophy for the first time in more than two decades.

While the Gunners were beaten by Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Champions League, Arteta will undoubtedly be pleased with his side’s season.

Away from the action, however, it appears that one member of Arsenal’s squad is on the radar of a Premier League rival.

As per Football Insider, Everton are interested in Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus, but are currently unwilling to meet the Gunners’ price tag for the player.

Jesus, 29, has scored 32 goals in 123 games for Arsenal since joining from Manchester City back in 2022.

The Brazil international previously enjoyed a hugely successful spell at The Etihad, scoring 95 goals and registering 45 assists for the Citizens, as well as winning 11 trophies including four Premier League titles.

The striker has been plagued by injuries over the last couple of seasons, limiting him to just three Premier League starts during the recent Premier League campaign.

It is claimed that the north London outfit are willing to allow Jesus to leave The Emirates for a fee of around £20 million this summer, however Everton are wary of the player’s worrying injury record and are therefore unsure about proceeding with a deal.

Italian outfits Juventus and AC Milan are also said to be interested in the striker, while Palmeiras are hopeful of luring the player back to his native Brazil.

Jesus’ contract with Arsenal is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, but it appears increasingly likely that he will depart the club this summer.
